Terms of Service

Last updated: 5 March 2026

These terms apply to all website and Shopify development services provided by Stackforge. By requesting a quote, placing an order, or paying for a project you agree to these terms.

Services

Stackforge builds custom websites (code) and Shopify stores. The exact scope, deliverables, price, and timeline are set out in the quote or agreement we send you before work begins. We do not start paid work until the scope and price are agreed.

Price & payment

Prices are fixed per the quote. Payment terms (e.g. deposit, milestones, or full amount on delivery) will be agreed before we start. If you overpay by mistake, the excess will be refunded or applied to future work at our discretion; we are not obliged to deliver extra work for overpayment. We accept the payment methods we advertise at the time of order.

Deliverables & ownership

On completion and payment you receive the agreed deliverables (e.g. source code, site access, Shopify store). You own the work we create for you; we do not retain ownership or lock you in. We provide handover documentation or instructions as agreed. You are responsible for hosting, domains, and any third-party services after handover unless we agree otherwise.

Revisions & support

Revisions are included only within the agreed scope. Extra work outside that scope may be quoted separately. Post-launch support (e.g. bug fixes, small changes) may be offered as agreed; we are not obliged to provide unlimited support after delivery. Support may be limited or paused if you leave negative public feedback until that feedback is revised or resolved.

Refunds & replacements

If we fail to deliver what was agreed (e.g. the work is materially defective or not as specified), we will fix it or, if we cannot, offer a refund or replacement as appropriate. You must report any such issue within a reasonable time (e.g. 14 days) of delivery. We are not required to refund or replace if the issue is due to your actions, third-party platforms (e.g. Shopify, hosting) changing or discontinuing services, or circumstances outside our control. No refund is given for work already delivered and accepted unless we have failed to meet the agreed scope.

Third-party platforms

We are not responsible for changes to third-party platforms (e.g. Shopify, payment providers, APIs). If a platform changes or discontinues a feature and your project is affected, we are not obliged to provide a refund or free rework unless we have specifically guaranteed otherwise in writing.

General

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order. These terms are the full agreement for our services unless we agree something different in writing. Contact us via Discord, Telegram, or email for questions or to request a quote.
